Jewellery Care, Water Resistance & Allergies

Our jewellery is crafted using gold-plated materials and designed for everyday wear with proper care.

Water Resistance

Nova Jewellery pieces are water-resistant, not waterproof.

This means they may tolerate light, occasional contact with water (such as hand washing). To preserve the finish and longevity of your jewellery, avoid:

  • Showering or bathing

  • Swimming (pools, spas, or ocean)

  • Prolonged or repeated water exposure

Damage caused by water exposure over time is considered normal wear and tear.

Allergies & Skin Sensitivity

Our jewellery is designed to be suitable for sensitive skin; however, individual reactions may vary.

Nova Jewellery cannot guarantee that our products are completely allergy-free. Reactions due to personal skin sensitivity are not considered a manufacturing fault.

Tarnishing

Our jewellery is tarnish-resistant, not tarnish-proof.
Exposure to moisture, perfumes, lotions, chemicals, or body chemistry may cause natural wear over time.

Orders

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Nova Jewellery reserves the right to accept or decline any order.

Orders cannot always be cancelled once processed, so please review your details carefully before checkout.

Purchases are for personal use only and not for resale.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in NZD. Prices may change without notice.

You agree that all payment details provided are accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility passes to the courier. Nova Jewellery is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, weather, or events outside our control.

Returns, Exchanges & Store Credit

Returns are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Refunds are not offered for change of mind.
Where appropriate, we may offer an exchange or store credit.

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply.
